About the Recipe

Ingredients
1 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted then cooled)
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350° F and spray an 8”x8” pan with non-stick spray. If you want a larger batch, double recipe and use a 9”x13” pan.
Step 2
Sift (important - this gets lumps out of the cocoa powder!) granulated sugar, cocoa powder, flour, salt and baking powder in a larger bowl.
Step 3
Melt butter and sit aside to cool.
Step 4
In a medium bowl, beat two eggs and vanilla extract with a handheld mixer.
Step 5
Add egg mixture and melted butter to tehh dry ingredients. Stir until just incorporated
Step 6
Pour Batter in to the prepared pan. Bake 20-22 minutes in 8”x8” pan, or 30-33 minutes in a 9”x13” pan.
Pioneer Tip: Don't cut your brownies in the pan! Let cool in the pan, then flip on to a cutting board. You can then make cleaner cuts and avoid the mess of getting that first brownie out!
